Founder of MK Technology LLC and Chair of the MK Group including MK Technology
Martin Kalin founded MK Technology in 1986, and for many years he was its President and a Senior Consultant. In 1990, he acquired Deltac Associates, Ltd. and formed MK Technology *Deltac. In 1991, he acquired MK *ibek, an approved Department of Commerce electronic licensing vendor. In 1992, he formed MK Data Services with Kenneth Harris, who now is its Managing Partner.
Marty Kalin founded Export Control News, now The Export Practitioner. He also has been an active trade and investment consultant on a number of business projects in Russia and other countries within the former Soviet Union. He is an entrepreneur and founder of a number of other technology companies.
He holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service where he specialized in international relations. In 1983, he was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by Secretary of State George Shultz for his work within the U.S. Department of State on Lebanon and the Middle East.
He is an active member of EO, the "Entrepreneurs Organization" in the Greater Washington, DC area chapter, where he serves on its Board and is responsible for chapter learning activities.
