The WorldCell network comprises of a GSM 1800 network in Iceland, built around the “softswitch” architecture and a protocol agnostic roaming gateway hosted in the United States, which enables roaming across different network technologies such as CDMA, GSM,TDMA (IS-136), Wifi, EvDO, GPRS etc. The WorldCell network is a carrier grade, high availability and fully redundant network ensuring a reliable service to all customers.

IMC Wireless GSM network in Iceland: WorldCell’s wholly owned subsidiary runs the GSM network under the brand name IMC Island.
VOTA (Virtual Over The Air) Service: WorldCell has enabled very unique value added applications custom tailored for corporate and enterprise customers utilizing its IMC network capabilities.
